CHRISTMAS MENU 2013

We know it’s early but we’re ready if you are – our 3 course menu starts at just £25 per person and we can turn it into a Banquet for £35 per person.

Starters

Game terrine with roast pineapple and cracked black pepper chutney

White stilton and cranberry savoury brulee with green apple chutney and wholemeal toast

Gin and beetroot cured salmon with pickled cucumber and salad

Soup of the day with dipping bread

Mains

Stuffed roast turkey crown with roast potatoes, glazed carrots, braised red cabbage, pigs in blankets and proper gravy

Rare roast topside of English beef with roast potatoes, glazed carrots, braised red cabbage and red onion gravy

Roasted butternut squash, beetroot, red onion and charred goats cheese tart with sweet potato mash, glazed carrots and pistachio crumble
Roast fillet of pollock with parsley mash, glazed carrots, peas and cider sauce.

Puddings

Cafe latte mousse in a chocolate cup with rum and raisin ice cream

Lemon and lime cheesecake with orange sorbet

Cheeseboard with a selection of local cheeses, homemade chutney and biscuits (£2 supplement)

For a banquet you can add a welcome drink, a nice glass of port, coffees & Chocs
